Just as ‘Golden Milk’ offers all the anti-inflammatory, cancer fighting, liver detoxing, hormone balancing benefits of turmeric, these muffins do just that in a delicious, grain and dairy-free mouthful!
What It’s Gonna Take: (makes 12 muffins)
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups shredded carrot
- 1 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/4 cup syrup
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3/4 teaspoon turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon apple pie spice (Primal Palate)
- dash of salt & pepper
How to Proceed:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Coat muffin tins with coconut oil, butter, ghee or muffin liners
- Mix all wet ingredients in a large bowl and set aside
- Mix all dry ingredients in small bowl
- Combine dry ingredients into large wet bowl
- Fill muffin tins
- Bake @ 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes
- Cool & Enjoy!
